Pastor Antonio

For those of you who have been praying for Pastor Antonio, I have a wonderful update. Last week, Pastor Antonio received his pacemaker at the National Institute of Cardiology in Mexico City.  He is now recovering in Mexico City but is expected to be allowed to return to Oaxaca this coming week.  Surgery was a success and no complications are expected.  Antonio is expected to be able to return to his work as a carpenter here in Oaxaca. Antonio (and we missionaries) have been learning all the ins and outs of the Mexican medical system.  At times it has been frustrating as we have wondered "why can't this be taken care of NOW?" But God has taught us all patience and the result was seen this past week.  Thank you to those of you who have been praying and thank you also to those of you who have made financial contributions toward his medical expenses.  Antonio, his wife Yolanda, his young adult sons Andres and Manual have asked that we pass on their thanks to you.                                                                                                        Pastor Antonio outside of the National Institute of Cardiology in Mexico City
